Email API (Transactional emails)

Build and deploy a reliable, scalable, and feature-rich Transactional Email API to enable users to send, track, and manage high-quality transactional emails with dynamic content and analytics.

Key Deliverables

1. API Endpoints:

   • POST /emails/send: Send transactional emails with dynamic placeholders and template support.

   • POST /emails/preview: Preview email templates with variable inputs (do not send the email, just return the resolved value.)

2. Dynamic Templates:

   • Support for reusable templates with placeholders (e.g., {{variableName}}).

   • Template versioning for easy updates and testing.

3. Tracking and Analytics:

   • Delivery status: Queued, sent, failed, bounced, or spam-flagged.

   • Open and click tracking.

   • Link tracking via URL shortener integration.

   • API authentication using API keys.
